Show review: Stepping Out

If you were an alien beamed down to earth, and you asked me to summarise Stepping Out, I’d say this.  “It’s like a cross between the dark situational humour of Abigail’s Party and the warm ensemble wit of The Full Monty. Only no-one dies or takes their clothes off.”

If I could add another short sentence, I might say, “…and it’s got Karen from Strictly in it.”

True, as an alien who’s brand-new to the planet, you wouldn’t understand those references either. But I’d hope my description would inspire you to get more acquainted with the diverse culture to be found here.
